The 5th Sir Walter Miler will take place on Friday evening, August 3 at the Meredith College Track. The inaugural Sir Walter Miler in 2014 saw three sub-4 minute Mile performances: NJ*NY Track Club’s Ford Palmer led the way in 3:57.61 followed by Donnie Cowart (3:58.43) and Isaac Presson (3:59.77). To-date, the event has produced 26 sub-4s (men) and 9 sub-4:30s (women) and has become a highly anticipated Raleigh summer community celebration.

For 2018, the event will offer its deepest prize money to-date with $5000 in guaranteed money plus $15,000 in bonus incentives.
