Guardian Mile

Sat, August 8, 7:00pm

Cleveland, OH

2020 event cancelled due to COVID-19

The third annual Guardian Mile presented by GOH Run will take place on Saturday, August 8. The Guardian Mile is a community one Mile race across one of Cleveland’s most iconic landmarks, The Hope Memorial Bridge, with a spectacular view of the city skyline and raucous crowd support. The course is challenging but unique, featuring a first half that is mostly uphill before a fast descent all the way to the finish.

There are 5 race heats: Youth & High School, Community, Masters 40 & older with the two Monticello Associates Elite Heats, the showcased finale. The guaranteed prize purse totals $17,000, going 6-deep ($4000, $2000, $1000, $750, $500 and $250). In addition, there is a $500 prime for the first runner to cross the halfway mark (must finish the race).

The race will also host the 2020 RRCA State Championship.
