The Mile High Mile

The Mile High Mile

Thurs, August 15, 7:45pm

Boulder, CO

The thrill of the Mile. Four laps around the track... a Mile high in Boulder, Colorado at a high-energy event called The Mile High Mile!

Thursday evening, August 15, at historic Colorado University Potts Field, will be the most exciting track race in Colorado as elite athletes will dig deep for speed and a kick towards the first sub-4 minute Mile on Colorado soil for a magical Mile moment.

Last year's inaugural event was highlighted with more than 90 runners seeded in three heats plus separate men’s & women’s elite races, FAT timing, live announcing by pro announcer Rob Vermillion and elite runner Noah Droddy, unique payout incentives for athletes, a finish line tape for each race and a podium presentation.

This year, The Mile High Mile aims to be even better with faster fields, higher prize payouts and a larger crowd lined along the track and infield that will cheer on the runners to PRs, possibly the fastest time on Colorado soil and maybe the coveted & historic first sub-4 minute Mile in the Centennial State!

Our goal again is to provide a high energy, top notch experience for spectators and runners of all ages & levels and to support the local elites and programs in the Boulder community.
