Gilley Seeks Indoor Mile Title

Mile PR: 4:08.24 (indoors)

After his 4:08.24 Brooks Invitational Mile victory in Seattle on Feb. 24, Trevor Gilley of Southlake Carroll in Texas is making his first trip to the New York Armory this weekend. He’ll run Sunday’s Mile at the New Balance High School Indoor Nationals. The 18-year-old Gilley, who will do his college running at Ole Miss, will bring his sensational kick to the fast Armory track. In Seattle, he ran his last quarter in 56 seconds for a decisive triumph.
